Dr. Anu Whisenhunt Joins NGPG Surgical Associates Vascular Center

J. Timothy Fulenwider, MD, FACS; J. Clifton Hastings, III, MD, FACS; Thomas A. Abbruzzese, MD, FACS; and the staff at Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Surgical Associates Vascular Center welcome Anu Whisenhunt, DO, MPH, to the practice.

Dr. Whisenhunt is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.  She received her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri, and completed her residency in surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She completed her fellowship in vascular surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa., and she also completed a master’s in Public Health Epidemiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  She specializes in the treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, venous disease, limb salvage, carotid artery disease, hemodialysis access and renal and mesenteric artery disease.

NGPG Surgical Associates Vascular Center’s board certified vascular and endovascular specialists have more than 70 years combined experience utilizing the full complement of surgical and endovascular techniques to provide optimal outcomes for their patients.  They offer expertise in treating a wide range of conditions including abdominal aortic aneurysm, carotid artery disease, thoracic aortic aneurysm, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), lung cancer and varicose veins through two office locations:
