    Dana treats patients using a variety of cognitive behavioral approaches including cognitive restructuring, successive approximation, behavioral activation, mindfulness and stress reduction, guided discovery and exposure therapy. These techniques are often used for grief, developing or improving communication skills, and addressing marital conflict. She also helps patients coping with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression and phobias.

    Dana is a Georgia native that has worked and studied abroad in Germany and England. She graduated from the University of Georgia and attended the Appalachian Gestalt Therapy Institute. She is an animal lover and enjoys spending time with her rescue cats. She considers herself a nerd, and enjoys reading fantasy, designing costumes and listening to pod-casts.
