    Additional Information

Ralph provides individual psychotherapy (in English or Spanish) to adults, in order to reduce symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, adjustment disorder, bipolar disorder, and other behavioral health conditions/concerns. This includes the broad, general diagnoses like Generalized Anxiety Disorder or Major Depressive Disorder, as well as the sub-types, such as social anxiety or post-partum depression. He strives to practice a trauma-informed approach, understanding that most patients have experienced past trauma, focusing on person-centered Positive Psychotherapy (PPT), Supportive Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Twelve Step Facilitation (TSF), where appropriate. Ralph conducts assessments, gives diagnostic impressions, and makes appropriate referrals. A thorough individualized treatment plan is developed, in collaboration with the patient, and the treatment plan goals and objectives serve to guide the treatment process.

It is worth noting that Ralph is trained to identify social determinants of health (social needs, such as lack of transportation, housing, financial insecurity, substance use disorders, etc.) and provide the available resources to patients in order to help achieve better outcomes.
