    Meet Ronald C. Lewis, MD, of NGPG Surgical Associates. A native of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Lewis began practicing medicine in 1996 and joined Northeast Georgia Physicians Group in 2010. Dr. Lewis is a diplomate in the American Board of Surgery and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons.

    Dr. Lewis pursued his education at the University of Georgia and earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center located in Phoenix, Arizona

    Dr. Lewis served as the NGMC Chief of Staff from 2013 to 2014 and on the NGPG Board of Directors in 2015. Some of his special practices and procedural interests include: 

    • Robotic Hernia Surgery
    • Benign and Malignant Breast Disease 
    • Upper and Lower Endoscopy 
    • Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery 
    • Laparoscopic Gallbladder Surgery 
    • Laparoscopic Colon and Rectal Surgery for Benign and Malignant Disease

    In his spare time, Dr. Lewis volunteers as an assistant scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts and attends his local church.
