How does it work?
E-Visit FAQs
A provider will review your E-Visit questionnaire and reply with your treatment plan and any needed prescriptions within 24 hours.
E-Visits are available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Providers review E-Visit submissions between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. every day. If an E-Visit is completed during off-hours, a response will be sent the next day.
E-Visit are billed to insurance. Patients will be responsible for any out-of-pocket costs based on the plan’s coverage. If an E-Visit is not covered by your insurance, you will be billed the self-pay cost of $40.00.
Once your E-Visit questionnaire is submitted a provider will review your symptoms. Just like an in-person visit, the provider will provide a diagnosis, prescribe medication for treatment, and then process your payment for the E-Visit.
If your symptoms are severe or indicate a different issue, the provider may request you see your doctor for an in-person visit. In that scenario, you would not be charged for the E-Visit.
