Patients in Buford and the surrounding area living with chronic pain or headaches now have more help to find relief as Sankeerth Challagundla, MD, joins Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) as an interventional pain medicine specialist.
“Pain can affect every part of a person’s life – from their ability to work to participating in the activities they enjoy most,” said Dr. Challagundla. “That’s why I take a personalized approach, working closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.”
Dr. Challagundla brings advanced training and expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, including spine-related disorders, neuropathic pain and headaches. He combines innovative interventional procedures with conservative therapies to help patients reduce pain, restore function and improve their overall quality of life.
Dr. Challagundla earned his medical degree from Kurnool Medical College and completed his neurology residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. He then pursued fellowship training in Headache Medicine and Pain Medicine at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He is board certified in Neurology, Headache Medicine and Pain Medicine.
“My goal is to help patients get back to living their lives, free of pain,” said Dr. Challagundla. “Whether that’s returning to work, spending time with family or simply feeling better day to day, we focus on meaningful outcomes for each person.”
Outside of work, Dr. Challagundla enjoys biking, tennis, gardening and spending time outdoors with his family and friends.
