Dr. Georgina Kalaitzidis is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group specializing in Family Medicine. She earned her medical degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and completed her fellowship at University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
Dr. Kalaitzidis – also knowns as Dr. K – takes wellbeing to heart. She makes sure every patient is taken care of and is very professional with each person she interacts with, including staff. She treats everyone with respect and puts her patients’ health first. Not only that, she constantly think about others she’s around on a daily basis. She does the little things that mean so much to her staff to show she appreciates their hard work and makes the entire office feel like a family.
Amanda Scott, AGACNP
Advanced Practice Provider of the Month
Amanda Scott is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group specializing in Hospital Medicine. Amanda obtained her clinical education from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Amanda works on the Inpatient Medical Rehabilitation Unit and has been a valued member of the team since her first day. There are countless examples of Amanda making special, after-hours arrangements with patient families to discuss care. Her patients and their families matter, and she makes sure they know that. She also cares about her colleagues and has made sure they know she is available when they need her. She’s approachable, empathetic and contributes to the team in meaningful ways each and every day.

Edith is a team player through and through. She’s always willing to offer a helping hand – even without being asked. She always goes above and beyond and is a prime example of someone who is passionate about what they do. Even when the office was short staffed, she came to work with a positive attitude and pitched in wherever it was needed. In her spare time, she helps clean up, organize and declutter areas around the office – making for a better experience for staff and patients.
