	Jeffrey Ward, MD Physician of the Month Dr. Jeffrey Ward is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He’s been described as a leader and role model who would “give anyone the shirt off of his back and not think twice about it.” He’s kind, warm, never in a bad mood and always has a positive demeanor and excellent bedside manner with his patients.
	Toby Hawn, PA-C Advanced Practice Provider of the Month Toby Hawn is a provider with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group specializing in Urgent Care. He obtained his clinical education from Emory University and is a board-certified Physician Assistant. His colleagues say his “passion for excellence and respectful compassion show every day.” He provides incredible care with the utmost respect for his patients. He leads with a quiet demeanor but is still effective in all that he does.
	Maria Ferrel, MOA Employee of the Month Maria is always there to tackle the most difficult tasks. She works to get patients seen as soon as possible. Her colleagues say there is nothing she will not do or cannot do to help her patients and providers. On top of it all, she does everything with a smile – even when she’s overwhelmed. Maria goes above and beyond the duties of her job, like when she calls for a wellness check when a patient misses their referral appointment, or when she works to get hand sanitizer replaced in an exam room she’s not responsible for. She’s always there when someone needs a helping hand.
