Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) now has two additional healthcare providers seeing patients at its Dahlonega locations. Physician Assistant Raymond Polk and Nurse Practitioner Vicki Simmons have joined NGPG Dahlonega Internal Medicine.
Polk, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, most recently worked as a physician assistant at Dahlonega Family Practice. Simmons worked at Chestatee Regional Hospital and Dahlonega Family Practice before joining NGPG.
Additionally, Nurse Practitioner Teresa Payne has moved to NGPG Dahlonega Family Medicine from NGPG Dahlonega Internal Medicine where she has cared for patients for more than five years.
“We know the need for healthcare access in Lumpkin County is top-of-mind for our patients,” said Daniel Tuffy, NGPG president and chief administrative officer. “All of these providers are well known in the community, and we’re happy to have them as part of our NGPG family.”
