If you’re worried about unsightly veins or uncomfortable swelling in your legs with warmer weather and spring clothing just around the corner, you can now get help close to home and get ready for fun in the sun. The Vein Clinic, a service of Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Vascular Center, recently opened a location at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton where Cori Beth Herron, PA-C, is now seeing patients.
Cori Beth has more than 10 years’ experience as a physician assistant. Before joining the Vein Clinic, she practiced in general surgery with NGPG Surgical Associates. At the Vein Clinic in Braselton, she evaluates patients and comes up with treatment plans for their unique needs. Treatment options can include lifestyle changes, compression stockings and minimally invasive procedures.
“Varicose veins, spider veins and chronic venous insufficiency are very common,” said Cori Beth. “More than 30 million Americans experience these conditions, but most go undiagnosed and untreated. We are trying to change that at the Vein Clinic. We can relieve the symptoms and help you feel great about your legs.”
Minimally invasive treatments available through the Vein Clinic include sclerotherapy, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), VenaSeal, Varithena and phlebectomy. Many insurance plans cover these services, and self-pay options are also available.
The Vein Clinic in Braselton is located inside the NGPG Vascular Center, 1515 River Place, Suite 280, inside Medical Plaza 1. For more information, call 770-219-4000 or visit ngpg.org/vein. To schedule an appointment with Cori Beth, visit ngpg.org/herron.
