What we do
Our urgent care team offers both walk-in services and video visits to make receiving care as convenient as possible:
Check Your Symptoms
Our easy-to-use online tool asks a few simple questions, then uses trusted medical guidance to recommend your next steps. It’s a quick and reliable way to get answers and avoid unnecessary stress, delays or costs.
Urgent Care Walk-In Clinics
Visit any of our convenient urgent care locations across northeast Georgia for in-person care. Our walk-in clinics are open 7 days a week, including holidays, from 8 a.m. to 7:45 p.m., treating patients 6 months and older. On-site services include medication dispensing, EKG, x-rays and lab testing.
Video Visits
Skip the drive and the waiting room. Available seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., our video visits are perfect for patients 5 years and older experiencing common illnesses or minor injuries. Video visits are conducted through MyChart and accept both insurance and self-pay options.
Urgent Care or Emergency Care?
When you require emergency care, trust the Emergency Departments at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) across five convenient locations: Gainesville, Braselton, Winder, Dahlonega and Demorest. NGMC’s Emergency Departments are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for life-threatening or severe conditions. However, hospital emergency rooms are not the place to go for common illnesses and minor injuries.
When to skip Urgent Care and head to the ER:
If you experience any of the following symptoms, immediate attention at your local Emergency Department is necessary:
- Chest pain or pressure
- Severe abdominal pain
- Coughing or vomiting blood
- Severe burns
- Deep cuts or bleeding that won’t stop
- Sudden blurred vision
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
- Numbness in the face, arm, or leg
- Sudden dizziness, weakness, or loss of coordination or balance
- Sudden, severe headache (not a migraine)
- Seizures
- High fevers
- New discomfort caused by exercise
- Any condition you believe is life-threatening
